Annual Tri-C GO Seminar

WHAT: Annual Tri-C-GO Seminar: Unlocking the Doors to Your Genealogical Research

WHEN: Saturday, October 22nd, 2005. Registration: 9:00 a.m. - Seminar: 9:15 a.m. - 2:50 p.m.

WHERE: Fairview Park Regional Library, 21255 Lorain Road, Fairview Park, Ohio

TOPICS AND SPEAKERS:
9:30 a.m. "An Archives Volunteer" by Donald Kozlowski, a volunteer at the Cuyahoga County Archives.

10:30 a.m. "DNA and Your Research, Part I" by Dr. J. M. Freed, Ph.D.

11:30 a.m. Lunch – bring a brown bag or go to one of the local restaurants

1:00 p.m. "DNA and Your Research, Part II" by Dr. J. M. Freed, Ph.D.

2:00 p.m. "Jammie Genealogy" by Lorraine Newsone and Friends. See how much fun you can have doing research from home.

Drawing will be at 12:00 noon. Don’t forget to get your tickets for fun prizes offered by the local genealogical societies. Winners must be present.
Christy Wiggins, Fairview Park’s Genealogist Specialist, will be giving library tours all day. Come and check out all the new and exciting things Fairview has to offer. The library will be open until 5:30 p.m.; giving seminar attendees an opportunity to do research at the close of the seminar.

HOST: The Greater Cleveland Genealogical Society.

COST: $15 if postmarked before October 9th; $20 after October 9th and at the door. Checks should be made payable and mailed to Greater Cleveland Genealogical Society, P. O. Box 40254, Cleveland OH 44140-0254.

Space is limited so please register early. No refunds will be issued. Handouts will be mailed to anyone who registered but was unable to attend.
